Brand Development Manager Employment Opportunity  2013 vacancy

Saman Associates is currently in the process of recruiting a Brand Development Manager for one of it’s clients.
The core responsibility of this role is to provide highly effective marketing plans, with a deep understanding of the consumer and brands target market.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop an integrated sales and marketing strategy and annual plan (including budget) to support the achievement of the company’s growth goals;
  • Develop clearly defined KPI’s to measure results of marketing activities; evaluate and refine as required to ensure marketing always delivers tangible ROI;
  • Conduct market research, identify and analyse target customer groups and relevant routes to market; investigate the economic, social and cultural conditions surrounding business activities including but not limited to industry trend and competition;
  • Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the company’s market share while ensuring customers are satisfied;
  • Lead the team to execute the brand strategy to the highest international standards; direct and coordinate marketing activities to promote products and services; ensure marketing is always on-brand and on message;
  • Manage the full marketing mix including; external communications, internal communications, customer care and customer relationship management;
  • Build brand awareness of products and services through above and below the line and targeted marketing campaigns;
  • Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business; this may include target campaign strategy development, prequalification, scoping calls, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, and follow-up activities;
  • Coordinate the development of communication materials such as websites, brochures, branded collateral, interior décor of offices, on-site signage, newsletters, etc;
  • Manage the marketing budget and share regular reconciliations and progress updates with the MD;
  • Assist the company to secure sufficient financial resources for future development and expansion plans;
  • Supervise marketing and sales executives and IT support on website related tasks
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:-
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field;
  • Four (4) years’ experience in Brand or Marketing environment;
  • Experience in product development, strategic planning, and implementation;
  • Proven track record in developing and executing results orientated sales and marketing strategies; building brands and launching new products and services
  • Practical experience of brand management and activation campaigns;
  • Experience of success in using different marketing channels to build a brand;
  • Experience of consumer research and using this to drive the implementation of the brand;
  • Project management experience within a formal project management methodology and of managing various projects;
  • Experience briefing, managing and working with external suppliers (including marketing agencies) and internal stakeholders to ensure activities are in line with strategy and on brand;
